It is believed that God created the Universe. How did God create it? By building it manually with his hands? No. He just thought of the Universe, created a picture in His Mind and ordered it to be created. And it was created. Thus God created a mental visualization of the Universe and believed it to be true and it became true. We are also having some elements of God in us. We may not be able to create the Universe or for that matter anything material just by thinking. But we definitely have God given powers to control our thoughts and manage our destiny. Why a poor man is poor? Because he cannot visualize himself as a rich person. An average man is average because he visualizes himself up to that level only. We are able to earn only up to the level we can visualize ourselves. It is all a matter of visualization. Things start from here only. First visualize. If successful, there will be proportionate changes in your life, directly proportionate to the extent of visualization. You will start getting new ideas corresponding to the visualized image followed by corresponding opportunities, persons and events, all set to make the visualization a reality.
But it is very simple to advise for visualizing a desired picture in the mind, whereas it is really very difficult to do it. A poor man cannot get a mental picture of himself as a rich man because he has to make a number of mental suppositions and adjustments for that. Moreover, our Mind is not our servant which would always obey our orders. It rather controls us most of the time rather than being controlled by us. But ideally, the things should be just the reverse.
Since mind controls us, we cannot get rid of our bad habits. We cannot get away with the habit of smoking because our mind does not let us do so. We cannot control anger because mind gives us feedback which we cannot ignore. Students know well that studying hard is essential for them for their future settlement, but still many students do not perform well, do not work hard and either fail or lag behind for years. Their minds urges to enjoy by watching movies, television etc. Here let me also clarify that mind is only a part of brain, which is very selfish in itself. It most of the time does not want an impartial analysis to be done by the brain. Mind is guided by the forces of fear and greed. It wants all sorts of enjoyment and pleasure, but keeps one away from taking initiative in new adventures due to the force of fear. Even in the fields, where we are fully confident of success, we do not enter because the mind does not allow us. But by the power of visualization, we can defeat our mind and change our destiny.
